- Simultaneous interpreting (e.g. at conferences, seminars, TV interviews and negotiations with an interpreter's booth)
- Consecutive interpreting (e.g. presentations and conversations (liaison interpreting))
- Accompanying interpreting (simultaneous interpreting during guided tours performed as whisper interpreting or with a tour guide system)
